Default New B9 Audi A4 unveiled...

As expected, evolutionary.

Pros: Artful and high-tech dash. Amazing fuel economy for the four cylinder turbo and diesel engines. Impressive LED lighting options inside and out.

Cons: Face and body are too familiar, may age quicker than normal. Sonata taillights are odd, especially the varying angles along the bottom. Round tailpipe tips are going out of fashion on sedans and other Audis, but continue here.

I view the A4 as the Camry of the segment. Perrenially bland but a very solid choice with great fundamentals. Also you really can't fault the amount of tech packed into that fantastic interior.

The A4 3.0TDI with 218 hp and quattro + tiptronic sounds like a really good option to me. These detuned engines from Audi are always stronger than they are supposed to be and you would probably not notice any difference at all compared to the 272 hp version based on daily driving.

The best part is the car is lighter (at least in euro spec), it will be a better handler all around.

Very evolutionary exterior, but still nicely chiseled and clean, and a solidly updated interior. Outgoing model had a pretty long lifecycle, debuted in 2008 as a 2009 Model year I believe...

It was delayed due to last minute styling changes. Hard to believe that but its true.

New?

Audi exterior looks have gotten cheap. They look like they compete with subaru now.

Looks like it will sell really well.

Audi has taken the calm design road and it is working fine.

A lot of folks want a ride that focuses the luxury on the inside (where you sit for hours a day in traffic).

Their exteriors look adult/mature/professional and avoid the polarizing/soon to be out of date/fad stuff and I say good for them.

When I see an RC I say this sucks (probably cuz I am old). Yes I know the trendy look is working for Lexus and I don't expect them to deviate from it.

I give Audi credit for what they have been doing (lots of them in the parking lots where I work in big biotech).

snoozefest. I'm bored just looking at the pictures. When are they going to bring RS4 back to the states?

Based on this and the new Q7, I think Audi has taken a major step backwards in design. They were cutting edge 7 years ago, now they seem to have lost their mojo. Looks like they've gone the VW route of carving out "bars of soap". If this is the basis for the upcoming S5 I won't be trading for another one.
