The G wagon did look awesome in JW, a Toyota 200 would of looked very bland and boring.

That's because the Canadian "military" and it's various Colonels and Generals spent a lot of time at some trade fair and bought into the idea of getting G-Wagens" rather than used Hummers from the US military. Being different while buying into a war is ok, but comparing light armoured vehicles to a Land Cruiser is probably gotta be the height of absurd.

Did the Canadian military also anticipate being bombed by an American F-16 ANG pilot while on training exercises in Afghanistan during this time?

A humvee makes a Mercedes look reliable.

Seen some Ford Rangers in news footage.... abandoned by the Iraqi military during the US administration post-invasion. These would be the ones apparently assigned to the current government and sometimes left in haste.

But those are paid with your taxes are they not? How do feel about that? Never give up a good beater if it's free.

Default Toyota Land Cruiser Got Dino-Sized Shaft in 'Jurassic Park' Movie

putting soldiers lives in the hands of the GM 6.2/6.5 was borderline insanity IMO
