I currently own a 2015, so naturally i should be hating on the 2016 and saying 2015 is much better, but i honestly think the rear end of the new one is a definitive improvement. Even the front end isn't too bad, i think it will look much better in real life. All in all, i am very relieved they didn't ruin the LC design. Seeing what some of the new Toyota products look like lately, i think the LC dodged a bullet.

So LC won't get redesign treatment yet? Revisit in 3 years.

Much of these see fleet-style personal use for my family when visiting West Africa, so it looks like all current 200s, I will be slowly helping replace through 2016. It is too bad Lexus is only officially sold in South Africa, as importing LHD versions makes things much more frustrating. Lexus needs to expand a bit more.

Facelifted LX570
I know we have a thread of leaked pics but I think this deserves a separate thread. They changed it more than the land cruiser

I think it looks great! Is the powertrain remaining the same?

Excellent find UZJ! You are always on top of things, it is just admirable. My head just keeps spinning in regards to all of this. It is very significant, but I don't consider it to be a 100% redesign or next generation model.
Then again, the 4RX is still on the same platform, so maybe it actually is then. The timing of these leaks must be very close to an actual press release, which you reported correctly months ago to be around June 17, 2015.
It is probably the most extensive Lexus update ever since the XF40 III LS. Basically an LS SUV in terms of quality now and fits that better than the GL/S-Class relationship. I believe LX450d is still coming (except U.S.), no?
Based on what? It is very significant, but it isn't a next generation model. It's still a 200, the way the current LS is an XF40 and not XF50 (original LS400 was XF10). That is unless, the Land Cruiser and LX, go their separate ways or a staggered release happens (LC300 in 2018, 4LX in 2019). I guess one will wait and see.
