We are going to test drive both cars.i like the ls460 because of the room. I live the new gs because it has a sports look and a v6.
Also going to test drive the Jeep srt just for fun =)

If you need rear seat room, thats a BIG upgrade from the GS to the LS. The GS is very tight in the rear. The specs would tell you space is similar (actually I believe the GS specs out with more rear legroom), and it is up front, but in the back even the SWB LS is much roomier than the GS.
For instance, I'm 6' with the drivers seat adjusted for my comfort in the LS I can sit in the back, slouch down and cross my legs without touching the front setback. Not possible at all in the GS.
All kidding aside about the Jeep, the 2011-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee is an incredibly nice vehicle. We had two, a 2011 and a 2014, only traded the 2014 because of our twins, needed a minivan. In Overland & Summit trims its a very luxurious vehicle, 2014+ has excellent tech and the Summit model rivals the LS for interior appointments, ride quality and interior noise levels. VERY nice vehicle.

Yeah I'm 5'7 and it was a little tight in my old gs350. She's 5'2. As long as a boster seat and a car seat fit. We will be ok. I still have my ls430.
Thanks for the great input. Great help
