Yeah because I can go into the Lexus dealer in the United States and by one with a factory equipped supercharger.

You wanted a change . You can get the LX in the Middle East with 450hp from a SC. Lexus should just make it standard across the globe if they don't change the powertrain.

Perhaps the LX could of done something? Anything? To the 5.7...
did i ever say that the drivetrain in LX is good enough / needs no improvement? i always think the lx could have been more, even back in 08.

i am solely talking about the completely silliness of power increase in the LS statement you made.

They actually stopped making the supercharged LX.

Very limited run for MY2014 only and they got sold out very quickly. Supercharged version cost $40/50k over the regular version
Of course since then many have modified the look of the normal LX so it looks like the Supercharged version which gives the illusion that they made many of them.

It was the most expensive Lexus to ever go on sale in the Middle East since the LF-A.

^ I think the thing some people are forgetting is that the LX and Land Cruiser were never designed with the US market in mind. For the middle east market it was designed for, those two trucks have 60-70% of the market share for big SUV's.

Now honestly I think Toyota could have done a lot more with the LX to make it compete with the Range Rover in this country. Standard or optional supercharger would be nice, upgraded interior, different exterior, hell just don't let it sit around for 8 years with ZERO changes.

Yup, you got it. They could of done something. Anything! At least with the 80 series and 100 series models, they had power train, transmission upgrades, interior redesigns ....the current LX is in its 8th MY with nothing changed.
