Wow so you admired both American and Japanese import sports cars. That's ironic because I actually own a dark blue 1990 Nissan 300zx twin turbo Love that car!

While a kid at heart, I'm still dreaming....I saw this today while coming home. Porsche GT3. We had come to a stop and this Porsche owner was SLOW poking it not wanting to be too close to anyone. Lol. When the vocabulary turns to definition of "sport" THIS is what I'm imagining. Not an SUV, F-sport Lexus sedan or some other badge put on a car and declared "sport". While I'll probably never come close enough to owning a LFA this is within striking distance. A beautiful car IMHO.
Porsche has always been my dream car.

This cover is burned into my mind. i wanted BOTH of these cars so bad. interestingly enough....one of my best friends actually GOT the Saleen as a graduation gift in 1989-90. talked to him on facebook a few weeks back and he still has it. less than 3000 miles on it....
his twin brother got a 20th anniversary Trans Am...the one with the GNX engine in it...for his graduation. safe to say their father had a LOT of money and a love of cars.

When I was a kid I always wanted a Ferrari. Now , I don't want one any more. Although Ferrari is still a great car they just don't have the appeal that I used to think of them.

I was one of those boys in the late '80's early '90's that had their bedroom wall covered in supercar posters. Do kids even do this much anymore?
Over those years they included Countach/Diablo, Testarossa/F40, Viper, McLaren F1, and others.
I even collected all the 1/18 scale models.
