I have never been able to warm up to the RC.

Some enthusiast-reviewers will pan a regular piston engine if it doesn't spin electric-motor or rotary-engine-smooth, even at redline.
It's fine in other GM products, but this is a Cadillac. The refinement level didn't cut it for me...and shouldn't be tolerated when Cadillac is trying to elevate it's image.

Yup- I was actually surprised at how well the Q50 suppressed the coarse sound of the VQ37.

i knew audi would be first. and that A5 was designed as a FWD first.

S5 is only fast in a straight line right?

I can tell you've never driven an S5. Also, the A5/S5 was designed with AWD in mind from the very start, despite the fact there's an A5 FWD available.

Lexus just needs to embrace FI, as it is clearly the way ahead in performance models, and with CAFE looming, as MM correctly pointed out.

I would rather have them embrace weight savings with combination of some serious hybrid powertrain (not the same ol' setup that's been in use for over ten years now)

Actually, what Lexus offers is anything but a "me too" car. The exterior and interior are totally different from any other offerings in the market. I respect that, and I think the exterior design is sporty, although it is not for me. At least they broke "out of the box" with the look of the car. I applaude them for that. What they need is to up the ante in the engine department because Lexus has proven they can build great chassis/steering combos. Add some HP and torque and they could win the comparo.

The real winner in this article is the ATS and its handling balance. Because GM/Cadillac saddled it with a lackluster 3.6, it lost first spot. Everything else about it says German.

If it was me, I would have the ATS over the Audi and Lexus.

The RC350? Nice looking car but hate the grill. Japanese designers trying too hard. The Caddy looks downright delicious although I'm no fan of its grill either.

Audi? Nice but not worth the premium.

That is where we differ.
So you wouldn't be ecstatic about a blown IS-F?
FI is a winning recipe this day and age.
It seems to be working pretty well for BMW/Audi/MB/GM.

Turbos got nothing on supercapacitors :P

Just like with turbos Toyota will be among last manufacturers to incorporate supercapacitors as they become cheaper even though they have them right now. Just like they did nothing about PHEV either.

Hope this send message to Toyota that a half baked effort is worse than not putting one at all.
