Not bad, I like it. But the price was not attractive at all.

Here's a video on the introduction, though the narrator speaks English with a heavy Indian accent.

Let's face it. Some of the earlier super cars from Ferrari were much more bad in terms of...everything.

+1. I too am more than old enough to remember when vehicles from Japan made their appearance in the US. It wasn't pretty at the beginning but look at them now. Then cars from South Korea. A little different scenario than the Japanese makes, but now they are mainstream.

Not saying cars from China will have the same fate, but time will tell.

Back when Japan started selling electronics and cars in America people were unsure of the quality of Japan made products because of past history with World War II. That war left us with prejudice against their products when first imported to the states. Their products actually are not too bad.
I remember my dad bought a Japan made rice cooker back in the 1980's and that rice cooker is to this day is still working. I think Chinese products today are not built as well as Japan product back in the 80's. So i think its valid to say we dont trust "made in china". I can name more than 100 items i have bought "made in china" that broke after 1 year manufacturer warrenty. And i can only think of two things made in Japan that broke in my household.

some of their cars may suck right now, but almost EVERYTHING we buy in the u.s. is partly or fully made in china. no doubt a lot of parts in cars (not considered 'chinese') already come from china. so cars will come...

and even if not chinese brands very soon, major non-chinese manufacturers (gm and bmw i believe, 2 name 2) are already building vehicles there in (required) joint ventures, so at some point they may well export their own models out of china to elsewhere.

given the china / japan animosity i don't expect any chinese-made lexus any time soon though.

I don't see a single original idea in that whole design. Pass.

i think a lot of people don't get it, there is QC between made in china and end consumers. companies like apple they put very tight quality control to make sure products are up to par before selling them to consumers.

but original companies in china, i have little faith in their integrity regarding QC, which means cost. they only care about money (more than anything else). those who question this simply have no idea what's really going on there. when their own people don't even trust their own stuff (anything), it tells you something
