I really like it. Looks much better in my opinion.

I think my dislike comes from that completely horizontal piece at the bottom of the front bumper combined with the headlight design. The old ES350 wasn't the best looker either so perhaps I'm being too harsh. To this day I still think the LS460 has the best spindle front end.

I am more interested in seeing what changes are done to the interior however !

I don't understand the negativity towards Lexus interiors. Went to the NY Auto show and sat in the german's and by god was the interior chintzy and cheap. Even in the S550. Hard plastics all over and it looks nowhere as nice as the brochures or the commercials depicts it. Everything feels flimsy. And what's with the old school number pad like on those corded phones? The M3 and M4 was just as bad.

^^^ because the ES interior used to be higher grade a couple generations ago, they deliberately cheapen it so as to differentiate it more from the GS interior and more in line with the IS, both of them their entry level sedans ......

I like the new face better than the current but wouldn't it be too aggressive for the ES and resembles the soon to be facelifted GS too much ?

We've sat in different S550s then lol. I see nothing cheap or flimsy about any S550

The top horizontal piece in this "leaked" pic doesn't seem to match the teaser image from Lexus.. Hard to tell the white from the chrome, but it doesn't seem to have the body color "mustache" between the spindle and the hood that we know exists.

this is real pic... so if you look closer, you will see they made that part much smaller and better integrated.

All in all, excellent MMC, it really looks a lot better.

I doubt they did anything substantial to the interior, maybe changed few plastics and added 8" screen. But who knows.

It will sell even better now.
