Fact #15 is not entirely correct:

15. James Sloyan has been the only voice actor for Lexus commercials since 1989.
Though James Sloyan had a twenty-year gig as the sole voice actor for Lexus (1989-2009), he was later replaced by actor James Remar.

6. Lexus's original name was Alexis but there were concerns that it would clash with the character Alexis Carrington of the TV show Dynasty.

Alexis?

Good thing they didn't go with that. That's an awful name. Unimaginative and feminine.

For those who name their cars..... "That's my Alexis. Her name is Alexis."

Why would they want to re-certify their paint inspector 4 times a year? Isn't that kind of a waste of resource and money?

We are paying for it. Does it matter?

From manufacturing stand point, it matters. They can allocate that time and money on something else "better?"

You ask a person to describe the USB color, 3 months later, you ask the same person, s/he will describe it differently. They should focus more on advancing their painting technology.

Who know that person is going to stay with them for long? Will they find a certified inspector to replace the one who is gone soon enough? Human nature is that we constantly change, technology doesn't unless we make it.
