Which goes to show you just how superficial and uninformed the average car buyer really is.....

Big price drop helped too.

i don't see lx dying at all
Yes , the LX has been outselling the Land Cruiser in the US, and they only offer the LX in Canada, not the Land Cruiser . And the best selling Lexus in the middle east is the LX.

I've followed the GX for a while. From what I've read, there were not good deals up to a month or so ago. This is across the US. Not sure where you got the info from. 2-3K off msrp was the average where some states dont even want to negotiate.

I'm talking about lease deals. I know a few people who have leased them over the years and they lease out well.

Not sure about international, but Stateside the LX is NOT available with BSM. $90K SUV and a $500 BSM option isn't even available?! So Lexus's cheapest car the CT and most expensive ute LX are not available with it. Sickening and unacceptable.

LX Wish List:
1. BSM
2. Shed the pounds

facelift is all about bringing the new safety suite to LX... + new engines.

The GX sells the way it sells because its prices correctly in the segment that it is in. Those people want a $50k SUV with a V8 and those people want a Lexus SUV. There is no doubt that the Lexus GX would probably sell even better if they offered 6 cylinder model and even better if the GX moved to GL Mercedes set up.

What is considered a good lease on this model?

no doubt. even in the lx570 forum you have people complaining. it's hard to understand but maybe lexus is just waiting for this year's facelift

even toyota/lexus has finite resources and has to prioritize, so lx drew the short straw for upgrades.

the added stripper gx model gave dealers a way to get people into the show room with ads.

to me the lx is getting the ls treatment, 2 facelifts. but ls got it for 13MY and lx 16MY (given that lx came out in 08, a year after ls), this is quite poorly executed imho

I would have to ask around, I've not run them myself in a long time.
