Interior is pretty nice
It's about time they changed it from all these years sharing with infiniti's design.

I'll reserve judgment until I see it in person but it's not that bad so far for the exterior.

I agree that exterior is meh....but I'm digging that interior bigtime. Looks clean and classy.....

My first car was a 96 Maxima. Boy how it's changed.

What a standout. Polarizing exterior attracts attention (good or bad depending on subjective view) and a premium interior

Fantastic looking car. Nissan has just made a fine piece of art right here. It truly is a metal sculpture on wheels.

Also, 300 HP + CVT = EPIC WIN

Hip Hip Hurray for CVT

That car needs to use its engine to hurry to an orthodontist for some braces.

Controversial update to Nissan's fwd "sport sedan".

From the side and rear, the new Maxima is a looker. Not sure about the front though - But I feel that way about a lot of cars (and CUV's) these days.

it looks weird, but interesting weird... interior is premium and it is really nice, i just dont like contrasting colors on steering wheel that make it look weird when it isnt... overall, awesome for nissan.

they should have gotten nicer pics out, photoshops of car on the outside look really poor... AB had good look real life pics, it would have been perfect with little bit less weird headlights, but still nice.

p.s. this showroom vehicle is much nicer than one in official pics, interior looks perfect.

It was a joke. I can tell cars apart with both eyes closed.

Its not premium.

Seriously...everything doesn't have to pretend to be a luxury car. Whats wrong with Nissan's "4DSC" 4 Door Sports Car looking like a sports car?
If I'm not mistaken, the Altima is the Accord/Camry's competitor. Nissan own website has the Maxima aimed at the Toyota Avalon, (former) Acura TL, and Hyundai Azera. All which are 'premium' vehicles. Perhaps they decided to head the Maxima in a different direction this time.

I just priced platnium edition without anything extra at $40k, so it is certainly premium... starts at $32.5 base.

No doubt. The Maxima may not be a lux car, but it is most def "premium".
