Since they refuse to give the V6 back, Rav4 2.0T, come on Toyota!

from the pic, it seems like amount of black was cut in half... new Rav4 was always very utilitarian, I guess they have NX for those that want something stylish... it is also by far the best selling Rav4 ever :-(.

I wish they do changes to it like they did to Auris in Europe... seems so far with new all-led rear lights.

It doesn't need to beat the NX, that's inherent, we were talking about the CR-V
Rav4 will likely be at least 300lbs lighter... so 0-60 in 8.x s for sure... it will be more like Camry in weight, than NX.

Hopefully they won't make the RAV4 hybrid too nice or no one will buy the NX 300H.

Lexus will still sell , just look at Audi and the others in the VW group. There is really no reason at all to buy a Audi A4 over the Passat. But people still do.

Up here, it won't matter. Lexus Canada only offers the NX300h in Executive Package trim at Cdn$58,650 so a loaded RAV4 Hybrid Limited will be much more affordable.

I think they should have went with the Toyota Prius X, but RAV4 Hybrid works.

I can't wait to see the inside and outside pictures. Plus what it may feature.

What would be interesting if it has a similar ground clearance as the NX and the same MPG.

It would be a good replacement for me, seeing my FRS lease is up and now living with my fiancee in the city (no indoor parking). I need something that is higher off the ground for winter (no more shoveling for me).

it should have better mpg than NX since it will weight 300lbs less (at least, estimated).

It is Rav4 with Hybrid powertrain, so it cant be called Prius X.. just like Camry Hybrid wouldn't be called Prius S.

our distributor in Europe said that they expect hybrid to be really affordable... i have no idea what it means but it will likely be similar to Camry Hybrid pricing - so less than $3k extra.

If it uses the ES and Camry hybrid power train and gets 40 mpg+, I'm signing up To current RAV4 owners, is the ride comfortable on less than perfect roads and how does the car compare to a CRV or Nissan Rogue?

I think it'll do closer to high 30s than low 40s like the Camry. Just my guess, but would love to be proved wrong!
