Congratulations, Josh....AGAIN.

I know this isn't your first Ram, but I guess that this truck's huge recent gains in road manners, ride comfort refinement, and quietness, together with the ability to haul a big stack of firewood if needed, did the trick.

If you caught my review/test-drive of the latest alumium-skinned F-150 a couple of weeks ago, (a 50K Lariat model), I mentioned, in my closing paragraph, that the latest Rams are indeed a tough act to follow. The new F-150 gives gives the Ram a run for the money in some areas, but still does not (quite) equal it in ride-comfort.

I see you got the Laramie version. That, of course, makes the interior and trim even nicer.

Good luck with it ....and PM me with your mailing address if you want a bottle of SCRATCH-OUT, although a true work truck is likely to get some dings and deep scratches, sooner or later, that are too much for a light-duty scratch remover.

Yes...on full-size pickupsand SUVs, that is where American manufacturers earn much of their profits. There is usually so much markup between wholesale and retail that there is very little reason to ever pay full-sticker or anywhere near it.

On the F-150 I recently drove, the dealership, even before any formal price-negotiations, was willing to knock off over 6K. Josh, of course, managed to get between 10 and 11K off.

Incedentially, Josh, did your Army time help you any in the pricing? Some dealers and/or manufacturers give additional discounts to active-duty, NG, reserves, and vets that others don't qualify for. (which is fine in my book...IMO, those who have successfully worn the uniform have earned it).

They gave me $1500 off for my service. The rest was rebates/incentiives.

That's a great deal for a Laramie. Always liked the Ram trucks and they have the best looking interior IMO. Congrats!

Congrats on the new truck!

I was in the market recently and the 2015 Ram Laramie was the truck I was going to get until I came across a lightly used 2014 F 150 Lariat Ecoboost with a deal that was too good to pass up.

I thought the Ram was an excellent truck. I was really impressed with the ride, the quality of the interior and the electronics which are top drawer. it's a really great vehicle.

I could not agree more. I have yet to figure out all the fun stuff the gizmo's do, but the heated and cooled seats, rain sensing wipers, radar cruise, heated steering wheel, navigation and infotainment system, in car wi-fi, ect is all stuff I will never again go without. I can't believe how awesome the voice recognition is in these new models compared to my 2011 Big Horn. It never misses a beat. I tell it to "go here" or "Call so-and-so, mobile" and it does exactly that, every time.
