Default Let's take a moment to thank Toyota/Lexus

Iv been frequenting other car forums and we really do have the best in terms of reliability; so I'd like to personally let Toyota / Lexus know just how much I really do appreciate their efforts in consistently producing the most reliable cars on the planet. Repair bills, being stranded, the frustration of trying to hunt down problems really does plague the ownership experience.
So Toyota/ Lexus, let me be the first to say thank you and please keep up the top notch reliability.

Even though I sold my '13 GS F Sport, I will thank them as well for 20k and 3 years of trouble-free miles. I've owned many past Lexuses as well and can say the same. Never an issue of any sort.

Depending on the products they introduce over the next 2 years, they may very well bring me back into the fold!

Thank them when they start giving away vehicles for non-profit. But for now just praise them

They seemed to appreciate! I do think they do a great job in all seriousness.

Hondas and Acuras seem to come from the victory a little more precisely screwed-together (better, IMO, in that regard, than that of any other American-market manufacturer). But, in the long run, Toyotas and Lexuses do seem to rank among the most reliable...at least in the powertrain department.

Exactly. They aren't some world relief agency--they are striving to make the best product, and maximize their profits. The thanks they get are from loyal customers coming back, and recommending to their friends--and selling more cars.

I think it's a matter of semantics. They definitely should be acknowledged for making reliable vehicles. Whether or not to thank them for it, is up to the individual. Personally, I'd acknowledge them.
