Exact my thoughts. Those cars are popular to be leased out for a reason, they drive them a few years then dump them.even when you lease abiee it can give you so much headeace and a very sour taste in your mouth!

The warranty is by Mercury/AAA (I was told it's the same company)? It is an exclusionary policy that excludes certain components on the car. BMW guys say make sure it doesn't exclude emissions components. I'm waiting to get the warranty contract from them to be 100% sure on what's covered run it by the BMW guys and see what they say if it's a no go I'll just lease a loaded ML for the wife. I figured at 72k with warranty up to 172k miles for 5 years I would keep it for 3-3.5years and trade it in as a downpayment on the 5GS
