The iQ was a failure in terms of sales so somehow Toyota has to recoup its investments back in other ways. By badging it a Lexus people can perhaps justify paying the premium the iQ has always asked for, who knows.

Much more interesting than an A1, and I think the evolution of the spindle grill looks quite interesting. It's a city car, so obviously not for the US with the love of everything oversized there, but would be quite a decent seller in Europe and Japan, especially if they put in the next gen Prius drivetrain in there. Plus the 2.0L turbo for an F Sport variant
Will also be keen to see if the more driver orientated cockpit is extended into the more "sportier" models in the future.

of course you do realize this is not a rebadged iQ? We should only hope that it using iQ-type of platform and not based on Yaris or other Toyota small platforms. That would be a huge plus for this vehicle.
