The front seats must recline so you can hide while parked so you won't have to be seen in it. Looks like Toyota is determined to resurrect the Aztek.

Does Toyota not have professionally trained stylists?

There's literally nothing aesthetically pleasing on the exterior of this leviathan.

lol... comments like this bother me greatly. You guys do understand that Japanese are different people than Americans and Europeans, and appreciate different styles?

Different culture, different styles... means different looking cars.

On the other hand, Alphard and Vellfire are hugely successful vehicles for Toyota and they outsell entire Lexus brand in Japan (as well as most if not all import competitors too).

So this kind of style is way more appropriate for Japan than Lexus designs.

What do you mean there are other countries and cultures other than the U.S?

i mean that Japanese do not have same taste as Americans and Europeans do. It is very different culture and their cars are very different from ours. This is done on purpose and not because they dont understand something.

These two cars outsell complete lineups from Lexus, MB and BMW... and are pretty expensive. It is not by accident - it is because Japanese like this styling. It is tailored for them specifically.

p.s. :-)

People's opinions about global car design is like the World Series.

You think it's the greatest thing on Earth since the America has won every World Series in the past century.

Japan's aesthetic preferences are just nuances.

Can't these countries be more like 'Murica?!?

Unhappy

Oh damn! That is ugly and I love the alphard and spindle grill.

It's those ugly "F-sport silhouette badge" tumors inside the grill that's killing it, not the spindle grill outline
And it cuts off way too low...should've have it split right in the middle.

I've always wandered what my sienna would look like with the spindle grill.
Excuse my quick ms paintshop
I would like to add the actual F-sport grill though.
