Default any word on new toyota V6 engines?

Are there any rumors about Toyota's replacement for the 2GR-FSE ?

That engine while still competent is definitely getting long in the tooth. fuel economy isn't the best anymore, neither is output... would be great if the GS refresh had the new engine debut!

All new engines coming this year. Tacoma will be the first Toyota to get it, GS or RX will be the first Lexus. No specs yet.

Do you have a source? and the RX would probably get a new non high performance version, eg, the 2GR-FE replacement i'm thinking...

Toyota announced new Tacoma with "new" engine which is 2GR-F?E with D4S, Atkinson cycle and everything else they put on their new engines (new UR with new tech is in RC-F and new AR turbo gets this new tech too, as well as KR and NR engine so far in Japan/Europe). So together with 8-10% more hp throughout the range, it should also be 25% more efficient compared to old engine.

So if Tacoma gets this, then everything else will get it as well.
