LS460 hands down. LS is the Lexus flagship, while the ES is a warmed over camry/avalon ( No offense to ES owners here!). in other words, the LS is much more special and better built!

I voted ES, just because I'm not a used car guy. The LS is a much better car no doubt, but still I'd go for the new ES...and did...twice when I was faced with the same choice.

Actually the LS gets gas mileage pretty similar to the ES...

that's something people should be able to live without...... by properly adjusting side mirrors and going back to basic driving skills.
Either sedan should not have a blind spot problem.
Crank that neck yo.
Also, that feeling of being the first owner to get to 35k miles wears off quickly. It's nothing special.
If the car was never in an accident, and the interior is mint, get it.
I used to be picky about not getting used cars, mostly because I thought it was easy to be defrauded by concealed/omitted accident records

I think the BSM is a great technology. Sure you can live without it, but its one of those things that increases your safety and makes driving easier.

I'm still kind of surprised about those fuel economy numbers on the 2011 LS. I had a 1991 Cadillac Brougham, it did 25mpg at 75-78mph on a flat highway with the a/c off. That was with that barn aerodynamics and the optional "big" 350 Chevy engine. That car usually did 16-19mpg in normal driving though. My bigger 1995 Fleetwood was the same story, 25-26 mpg if you kept it at 74-77mph. Normal driving was 17-18mpg.
Kind of funny how the much newer Lexus returns about the same mpg numbers, yet it requires premium fuel. Then again it has about 100 more horsepower than that 1995 Cadillac, and 200 more than that 1991.
