Ford's 2016 GT Gets Orange Paintjob and Targa Roof in New Render
It took 2.3 seconds (well, not really, but you get what we mean) before someone photoshopped Ford's new GT supercar.
The perpetrator is X-Tomi who rubbed away the center section of the coupe's roof above the passenger compartment to create what he calls the GT Spyder, evidently with a removable targa-top.
While he was at it, he also gave the Blue Oval's upcoming halo car a deep orange paintjob, which actually looks pretty fitting.
Now, how about someone put their Photoshop skills to good work and paint the 2016 GT in a traditional Gulf Oil color scheme?

I love this thing. Anyone else see Miura cues in it? That's probably why I like it.
Think this is the first Ford I've ever liked that wasn't made in the 60s.
So the questions are:
1) Is the real thing going to look anything like this?
2) Specs?
3) Price?
I'm no brand snob as anyone on CL knows, but it'd still be tough to justify paying $150k+ for a Ford.

Forza Motorsport Features New Ford GT As Cover Model
It looks like fans of the Microsoft Xbox One gaming console are about to receive a real treat. The all-new Ford GT will be featured in the new installment of the Forza Motorsport series.
If you're into racing simulator games, then you probably know the Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon series. They are both made specifically for the Xbox in order to rival the PS4 Gran Turismo game, which has already reached its 6th installment.
Currently, Forza 5 features arguably the best graphics you can find on a console racing game and we look forward to trying out the brand new Ford GT in Forza 6 when it comes out later this year. So far all we know is that Turn 10 Studios, the team behind the Forza franchise, are going to bring a preview of the game at E3 in June where you'll be able to witness some of the new gameplay features and graphics changes.
Aside from the GT, the game will also feature the new Shelby GT350 Mustang as well as the 2017 F-150 Raptor.
As for the all-new Ford GT, it was unveiled yesterday in Detroit and it's an absolutely stunning machine. It has a 600+ hp EcoBoost V6 and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, so performance isn't going to be an issue, neither in real life situations nor inside the Forza 6 video game.
And we certainly can't wait to see how they integrated the GT's fully digital instrument cluster and if they went above and beyond the call of duty (no 'gaming' pun intended) and made it configurable just like with the real car.
