Idk about over seas, but in the US the X3 is 4,030 lbs while the NX is 3,940 lb.

Oops sorry. I was using the wrong information.Off the topic I had a 07' X3 30i and it was just okay. I was especially annoyed by hesitation at low speed.

Just hope what rayaans said here is true. Maybe the C pillar will be a combination of resins or new material.
Tried squeezing some more info but my friend has kept his lips tightly sealed. He did mention however that the US will not be getting the 200t engine and will make do with a 3.5l V6 but hes not entirely sure which version - he thinks possibly a tuned version of the one in the current RX with between 306-310hp.

200t may be available in other markets but again, no word on power output - it may be around 250-270hp. He mentioned that they were looking into a 300t but again, not sure if it'd come through.

450h is apparently coming with a 4th gen hybrid system whatever that means. No word on which batteries are going to be utilised or power output but itd be around 320-340hp.

There are a few things wrong with that render. Firstly, the spy shots show a hidden rear wiper - as can be deduced by the wiper lines on the glass. The rendering has a conventional wiper. Also, the wheels seem to be 20" on the render but in the same design as the current RX. Im pretty positive that Lexus would come out with new wheel designs if they're making a whole new car!

In the render, the angle of the rear glass is small from the vertical. Looking at the spy shots, the angle of the rear glass is much larger leading to a sleeker - less minivan-esque shape compared to the render.

Also, take a look at the kink in the C-pillar in the render above the rear door handle - thats on the spy shots too. There is something interesting going on with the C-pillar which I was told months ago - im struggling to picture it as its heavily camouflaged!

I hope they don't make the 2016 RX look like a bigger NX. Be more creative!

The carmo properly not the Rx. It looks really big for a 5 seats suv. If Lexus going Audi BM and Acura then it will have optional 3rd row or maybe the camou is the upcoming TX with 3 rows suv. I really want a lexus since the MDX has many issues and wind noise.

Lexus is missing out a significant piece of the market by not making a 5+2 crossover. Many people simply don't want or need a thirsty off-roading-capable LSUV like the GX when all they want is a comfortable family hauler. The MDX has been selling so well for a good reason.

its a bit bigger than before (4" i think), but without 3rd row... we know about engine and 3rd row since Lexus showed it to the dealers at yearly dealer conference. By not offering 3rd row anywhere, they make bigger/lower trunk and better positioning of 2nd row... there is always a balance when you design with 3rd row for any market.

I would guess that TX will be properly done 3 rows SUV for US market.

If RX wants to devour X5 then they must include third row option like X5 did in the last re-design. In my particular industry, X5's third row option is a good option.

Finally dual exhaust

Hopefully it gets a Drive Mode Select. Adaptive suspension is probably wishful thinking but wish it I will
