then he took it to the shop...dyno'd it...and had gained 60hp/70tq within 48 hrs. its an R&D vehicle so it doesnt really matter how he treats it. Ron does great work and his shop puts out some REALLY fast cars. my brother took his CTS-V wagon to em....

Performance cars are designed and built to ACCELERATE, with quick 0-60 times....not sit still all day long in smoke, burning off all the rubber on the rear tires and subjecting the transmission, driveline, and differential to enormous stresses.
Yes, the winner of a NASCAR does donuts around the finish line, but one must remember that those cars are essentially rebuilt after every race.

Disagree. There was NOTHING lowly about THAT burnout.

In that case ford shouldn't offer a burnout app on its mustang.

lol exactly, this guy doesnt give a crap about the warranty, i am sure that is what was on his mind the whole time....BTW that video has 450,000 views, not so stupid now considering it will likely pass 1 million views with his company branding all over it.....

Sounds to me like the guy is more interested in web-site views than his car. In that sense, I can agree.

For his clientele...I think doing a burnout (not only for the views/hits/notoriety) does nothing but help him in his quest to find the weak points of the platform. This isn't your average joe abusing a car that he is gonna have to live with for 4 yrs.
A warranty means NOTHING in this case as it was voided within 48 hrs by him tinkering with the ecu, changing the air box and installing a new pulley.

What sort of numbers did it make stock/vs the pulley and tune? You have a link with some dyno graphs or dyno videos?
