Congratulations. The Land Cruiser, while of course not cheap, offers almost everything the more expensive Lexus LX570 does except the trick power-raise/lower suspension and maybe some extra wood trim inside.

The fact that so many Land Cruisers are used in primitive conditions in Third-World countries and elsewhere gives testimony to not only their capabilities but reliability as well......something that the Range Rover, which is equally capable and comfortable off-road, clearly lacks.

Fuel prices are cheap over there...............which is probably why they removed the 4.5 V8 DIESEL from the LC 200 lineup over there (GCC Middle East)

We still get the 4.5 v8 diesel in Qatar, they are wanted by some of the local companies and some get exported.

Thank you, they are excellent vehicles. The LX has a nice interior and i could have picked one up but i plan on modding my rig in the near future. I also prefer the KDSS on the LC vs the AHC available on the LX.
KDSS would work well with aftermarket off road heavy duty suspension and will help enhance the vehicles performance even further as it already does in stock form.

latest mods
removed third row seats and installed ICON suspension ( front coilovers rear reservoir shocks ) diff drop/ SPC UCA's - Billet trailing arms and Lovells HD rear springs, this nets to around 3 inches of lift. Also fitted 33 inch desert tyres with 17x8 OEM steel wheels.

Looks beastly. What's all that padding in the boot? Keep sand out? Pet holder?

Congratulations UZJ! It's beautiful and I like the mods on it! Happy you kept the 100, as I've would've fought to keep ours years ago. The 2012+ really makes it more worthwhile to own a 200, as I didn't really like the look of the 2007-2011 version.

I do have to wonder what is happening this year, as we've seen mules for the Prado, but nothing for the big one. Is late 2016, still a target for a redesign or not I wonder.

My uncle (in Cambodia) has the exact same one in Black. I would be lying if I say I'm not in love.

Small update. 7800 km so far. Enjoying the beast. Couple of complaints, annoying rattle behind the lower dash that goes away when i push it and second row seats rattle from time to time as well. Annoying but I will live with it and I don't hear it every time. I also lowered it back to stock height as I did not like the handling while lifted.
