I am looking forward to seeing what Lexus does with the 2016 model. If they can give the GS a substantial refresh with the separated DRLs, full spindle, a more dramatic rear end, updated V6, new 200t option, GS F... that's a lot of life to breathe into a car mid-life cycle. I have a feeling we might see them do what they did with the GX, and come up with a slightly de-contented version with NuLuxe interior to make it more affordable as well.

I wish a lot of that had been available for the 2013 model, but I just hope they play their cards right for the 2016 model.
MY16 should help raise awareness of the GS. Agreed I think the 200t will be available with NuLuxe.

yep.

and as to sales, ww 3gs and 4gs have been neck to neck, but 3gs had great start then collapsed completely... 4GS doesnt seem to be doing that at all, so i expect sales to be much higher at the end compared to 3gs.

You are correct about the styling, but keep in mind that many people even here considered 4gs outrageous when introduced... now it looks really bland, funny how that works.

Since the U.S. doesn't get the GS 250 we most likely won't get the GS 200t either...

Lexus better get the GS refresh right, they must not be afraid to be aggressive. Just follow the Lexus trend, we need more bold designs from Lexus. Compared to the sport versions of the 5 and E, GS looks relatively tame.

Default Big Black Friday discounts key to Chrysler 200 sales success

A lot of people go shopping for deals on TVs or computers around the holiday season, but it looks like some folks are finding some fantastic deals on cars too. Take the Chrysler 200 for example. The new sedan had a great November in terms of sales, and by Chrysler's numbers, it delivered 14,317 of them for the month, a 155 percent increase from the same month last year. It even beat the November 2013 sales of the old 200 and Dodge Avenger combined. However, a report from Daily Kanban based on TrueCar data suggests that the good month came at least in part from steep incentives.

Based on 20,156 sales of the 200 from TrueCar's database, average transaction prices were about $2,500 to $4,000 under MSRP for all but the base LX front-wheel drive model. That one actually went for about $68 above the typical base price. Going by these numbers, most people could have bought nearly any trim cheaper than the listed price of the one above it. For example, the top C AWD averaged $27,423, less money than the stated MSRP of the lower-spec S AWD. TrueCar's website also shows 200 pricing dipping in the latter part of November and into early December.

There's no doubt that the 200 had a stellar month for November. But these figures suggest that it might have come partially because buyers found stacks of money on 200 hoods, while out doing some holiday shopping.

Regardless of incentives, I'm seeing more and more of these on the road including a neighbor that got one in Velvet Red Peal Coat

i think the 200 is a great looking car outside and inside. of course reliability is always cited as the main concern - i really hope chrysler's doing better there... competition is a good thing!

Lexus is gonna blow up with the introduction of the IS 200t, RC 200t and GS 200t...

The NX 200t will also help Lexus SUV line as well...

2015 and 2016 will be great years for Lexus...

If 4,000lb NX goes 0-60 in 7 seconds flat with the 2.0T, then I assume IS, GS and RC should be low-to-mid 6 second range at ~3,700lbs. I look forward to seeing those introductions.

The 2.0 going into the latter three will supposedly put out closer to 250hp, again last I heard

I almost forgot in Australia, China and other parts of the world they get the RX 270. Lexus will bring the RX 200t as well.

IS 200t
GS 200t

RC 200t

NX 200t
RX 200t

Will Lexus make a CT 200t? I'd rather have a CT 200t than a CT 300h.

Also Russia, China and other parts of the world they get the ES 250. Lexus most likely will bring the ES 200t as well?
