I can't wait and look forward to the NAIAS to see those two new models from Lexus and hoping one will be a GS F and maybe a three row CUV (TX)...next generation RX or LS...or who knows an entirely new model all together...no one knew about the RC convertible coming to the LA auto show...
Its just a personal feeling I have, I don't think GS-F is an exciting model. Also I'm not THAT easily amused.

Well, that article is taliking about "performance and high end vehicle". So, I doubt that we will see an RX, TX models. Most likely it will be the GS-F and next SC or LS.

I have heard that GS F will definitely be there, but no idea on the second. LF-LC II concept? One production vehicle and one concept might make sense?

Source, Autoblog and Wards,

The 2015 Detroit Auto Show is shaping up to be a big one for Lexus, with Group Vice President Jeff Bracken confirming to Ward's Auto that the Japanese luxury marque will have at least one, and possibly two, all-new-model introductions.

Ward's seems to think that one of those vehicles will be the new RX crossover, one of the brand's most popular (and oldest) offerings. The complete and utter lack of spy photos of the new RX doesn't necessarily support Ward's argument, although if the new CUV ends up being based on the JDM Toyota Harrier, as previously reported, the absence of camouflaged images might make some sense.

As for that other vehicle, it's hard to say what we might see. Were we to put our money on it, though, the long-awaited GS F would be a strong contender for a Detroit debut. The high-performance challenger to the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG has been spotted almost completely undisguised as recently as October. On top of that, Detroit's reputation as a performance-focused show (last year's show saw debuts of the Ford Mustang, BMW M3 and M4, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Volkswagen Golf R and Porsche 911 Targa) makes the GS F's appearance there a fair bet.

One thing we can count on at least hearing about when Detroit rolls around is Lexus' strong sales position. The company's 2014 sales should crest 305,000 units by the end of the year, marking the first time the company had passed the 300,000-unit mark since 2007. Bracken told Ward's that should be an easy task, particularly with the brand's "best month of the year," December, still to come.

A Track-Ready Lexus Poised to Make Global Debut at 2015 NAIAS

Lexus announced it will be adding a second vehicle to its growing stable of F brand high performance models. Earlier this year, the luxury manufacturer launched the RC F, a V8 powered performance coupe. The newest Lexus F brand vehicle will make its global premiere at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) on Jan. 13. The vehicle will be revealed at a press conference in the Lexus display space at Cobo Center on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 8:40 a.m. EST.

Hopefully the rear has been upgraded as well, it was the GS' weakest design point.

Wow... sweet! !

Not caring much for how the LED check mark is(n't) integrated with the headlights and bumper, but those wheels and some of the other detailing looks SICK.

Seems that GS F will indeed wear the refreshed GS body. Awesome!

whether the GS F would be excited very much depends on the specs., it will actually be a downer if it's just a half-baked effort ...

I have absolutely no photoshop skill or ability but made this by making mirror images of the press pic and adding the RC F grill insert. Looks great.
