It is truly amazing what a strong motor that likes pressure can do, right?!?

An 88 trim turbo with supporting mods on almost any decent car can make it a "Vette Killer" or whatever your victim of choice happens to be.

Met a guy in college that has an 87 Buick Regal T-Type that's built with a beautiful turbo and just under 25lbs of boost running low to mid 11s. Insane stuff. Taking it to Byron (track in IL) was an eye opener for sure.

If you listen, he missed a shift in the Toyota and bounced it off the rev limiter. Still managed to pull past everybody once they were going above 100mph.

Which brings me to my next point, can you imagine doing 130+ in a rusty old 80's Toyota? Can't imagine how scary that feels. Especially when you hit the brakes and realize it really doesn't have any brakes lol.

That was freakin' awesome! Gave me the chills as I love how he crept up on that bike and didn't look back so as not to turn to stone.

They needed more asphalt to give these vehicles the proper room to really work out the gears.

I've got to watch it a few more times to get me fill.
