Default Bmw M4 coupé is the successor to original M3?!

On that new Bmw M4 and M3 sedan they brought the 6 speed manual tranny back. The E92 M3 4.0 na only had sequential auto tranny. This is interesting since to most people real autocross is considered having a manual transmission. Its interesting also that the M3 is only in sedan form, no info on the coupe yet I believe. The M4 coupé was said to be it's successor.

Is this a real post? Prior gen M3 coupe and sedan had the 6MT available (at least in the U.S. market). M4 is simply the new even numbered Coupe methodology for BMW, so yes, the M4 coupe is the "next generation" of what was once called the M3 Coupe. So info on the coupe is indeed out and fully available, as are both being readily available for sale.
