If Carlos Ghson could bring Nissan's reliability prowess to the table, Nissan/Infiniti would be unstoppable. But as it stands now, Nissans/Infinitis look extremely good (except the Nissan Puke/Juke) but unfortunately are NOT reliable especially as they age. Loyal Nissan owners are starting to see the Renault influence of lowered reliability and many Nissan forums are starting to bash them for the reliability problems. This has been the Renault narrative for years; good looking, cool features, but junk.

This q30 looks awesome, but Renault's cancerous reliability influence is the growing concern. Renault's influence over Infiniti is becoming more entrenched and the poor reliability of the jx and the q50 shows this.

Lol. Are you going to go into every single Nissan/Infiniti thread and say the exact same thing? You've been posting the same thing for a month now.

Both the Q30 and QX30 look great in production form, as does the next Q60. Seems that many people were mistaking the Q30 as a QX30, as some of the spy shots were of a QX30 in a Q30 body. Infiniti signed each of these cars off a long time ago (2013), so these concepts are merely previews despite what ignorant journalists tell you.

I have no idea what the QX70 looks like, but it is bigger though. Might be more Cayenne. The QX50 was supposed to redesigned for 2016, but what one heard and saw in 2013-early 2014 can change. It has been alleged that Ghosn delays/axes new model launches at random, if not satisfied with numbers for what ever reason. The 2015 Maxima becoming a 2016 is one example of that, as is the forever delayed Q60.

Sounds like Ghosn and Sergio Marchionne have something in common.

Both manage what are known as two of the most unreliable brands on the market: Renault and Fiat.

Default Infiniti Shows Us More of its QX30 Concept

Here’s a new official photo of Infiniti’s QX30 Concept, which previews a future compact premium crossover based on the upcoming Q30 hatchback.

Infiniti says the study is 30mm (1.2in) taller than the Q30 Concept and that it combines the lines of a coupe with the features and higher stance of a crossover. “We wanted the spontaneous fluidity of the QX30 Concept design to cut through the urban clutter and rigidity, reflecting its go-anywhere and spur-of-the-moment nature,” said Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti Executive Design Director.

“The QX30 Concept has been designed to make occupants feel safe and protected inside, and customers can drive in or out of the city without worrying about nicks to the chromework,” he added.

Although the photo doesn’t show it, the QX30 features a more pronounced aluminum-trimmed bumper up front, as well as a skid plate sculpted with nuanced graphics at the rear. Interestingly, the study uses carbon fiber in the lower cladding and roof bar supports.

The roof racks have more than just a functional role, extending inward toward the center line, alongside the glass roof, to provide a “sculpture” for the rear passengers to look through. The crossover rides on 21-inch wheels and larger profile tyres, with the spokes mixing three-dimensional milled aluminum finished in different tones.

I wonder how many "stupid parts" Renault saw fit to imbed in this model.

because a single part problem in a formula one car has so much relevance to small ute.

In this case, absolutely! Renault has a HISTORY trailing behind it of one reliability problem after another in their passenger cars. It's been their story for YEARS and continues to this day even into Nissan and Infiniti. The last time Renault was in the US it was a reliability disaster aka: Renault Alliance, Dodge Monaco, Eagle Premier, Renault Medallion — they each had nothing but black circles in Consumer Reports. Now that Renault is back under the Nissan/Infiniti name, they're eroding their reliability as well. "Stupid parts" has been their legacy.

Fast forward to 14:52—19:00. You'll see that since the Renault influence, Nissan/Infiniti's reliability decline is indeed real:
