The vantage gt and n430 was a big inspiration for my build, but also the le mans gt car that aston runs.
However, mine is gonna be a bit more unique with my grill. Just had a friend take a huge amount of pictures today, so hopefully major updates to follow

The pursuit of F
Welcome back to CL! ..... With a Vantage!
Congrats and love the passion you have on cars. It's addictive.
Curious about knowledge on any major issues or reliability on these cars since they're so rare with very little data floating around.

Thanks!
The car, from my research and a buddy who owns one, are pretty solid (for that kind of car, and not comparable to a lexus or anything mass produced). The only major issue is a design defect that either does, or does not impact some cars where the timing chain cover does not seal properly. It's about $200 bucks for the part but $6,000 worth of labor to drop the front subframe for access.
Aside from that you have your usual minor niggles that comes with every hand build car, things like thermostats going bad every few years, doors doesnt lock properly and have mind of its own, clutch life around 20k miles on avg etc.
Small issues will always be there, but with cars like these its all about avoiding the big issues.

Hey TJ, thanks! I wanted to, but unfortunately the logistics of having the calipers taken off, taken to Amyn who who is like 60 miles away, get it back and put it on car while the car is taking up the lift on the shop, is just too hard to work out.
Anyways here are some pics from this weekend. Car is "almost" done. Caliper still needed to be wet sanded and the Aston Martin decal applied back on, but here is my original vision for the car in the flesh
