Default 2014 Honda Accord Coupe

2014 Honda Accord Coupe Review

About a moth ago I bought my wife a 2014 Accord Coupe. What a disappointment for both of us.
I have owned Hondas in the past including a 2008 Accord, and let me tell you the 2008 drives better than our 2014 accord.

If I am not mistaken on the new Accord models, Honda have taken out the double wish bone chassis, it may or may not be the reason why the car is a complete pile of crap. We cant take the car on any long trips, we feel every little stone, every little bump. The ride quality is no better then the Russian Lada. ---> link http://betterparts.org/gallery/lada-samara-01.html

I cant believe we paid $22,000 for it. We both test drove the car, but it just wasn't enough to realize how crappy the car is.

Not only it drives subpar, there are other things that bother me, like the split on the drivers mirror, it is so distracting that my wife almost hit another car. It looks like a blind spot, but it's not. It has no use only it distracts and takes up space.

Another thing with the Electronic console, you have to select DISP first, then you need to select AUDIO, in order to select pre programed radio stations. If you don't select DISP ---> Audio, it will dial a number instead.

Not only I can feel every little bump, I can also hear everything. The road noise is just unbearable.

I maybe spoiled by driving a GS350, but not my wife. She drove a Nissan Sentra before, and yet she is so disappointed in her brand spanking new TrashCord.

You drove a Lexus and while your wife took the Sentra? I don't think I'd get away with that in my household...

Sorry OP you guys dislike the car -- I see you're in TX I have a 10 TSX I'd sell ya
Have you tried to dump it on Autotrader? or tried to trade it in? Allegedly Honda's retain their value pretty good..

I haven't given that much thought yet. I can prob. sell it for $21,500 I got a good deal, paid only $300 TAX., only 1,000 miles. We are leasing it for 36m, 34 more to go.

I think we are going to wait a few month, maybe sell it in 2015.

just for kicks, I'd still find out the total buyout amount to see where you stand.

Save yourself the aggravation and sell it.

Life's too short to drive a car you hate.

If you have one near you, take the Accord in to a Car Max and see what they'll give you for it. It would be a starting point and only takes a 1/2 hour or so.

i have a 2013 Accord sedan. It's not the best car out there, but i feel that it's best in class. It's no Lexus, but for $15,000 less than my IS, i don't expect it to be

Most reviews of the current Accord are very favorable. I feel bad you feel bad over this car. I think it's better than you say it is though. Sell it and get something better suited for you and your wife.

I only wish it was. I had a 2009 accord, and I loved that car. Even thought others told it not for you, i still like everything about it. This coupe is a box on wooden wheels !

Well, we decided to wait a few months, maybe we sell it around Feb/March. My wife drives very little. The car will have no more than 3,000 miles by then. The only reason why she got 1000 miles now, Is because I drive the car, to save miles on my GS
