Just posted this on the blog. How do you guys feel about the deviantART LexusIS F SPORT from SEMA last year? I thought it was cool, if a little over the top, and the BASF Ultra White looked sick.

Paint actually had a really cool look in person. It just doesn't photograph well at all.

I do like the color, but the car itself looks like a transformer that's been beaten up and doesn't work right anymore. The rear doors don't even open for chrissakes!

The problem is that most people evaluate this as whether or not they'd like to own the car and drive it, rather than appreciating it as a piece of art.

i can appreciate the design...i understand the them, it's the bodywork that has me turned off. just look inside the fender wells and see how cheap it's put together. not to mention the flow of the rear wide body flares, it looks glued on rather than flowing
the same design could have been better executed ten-fold.
