What's your favorite Ferrari(s) during Montezemolo's 23 year reign?
Montezemolo was appointed president of Ferrari in 1991 by FIAT Chairman Gianni Agnelli three years after Enzo Ferrari's death. Ferrari was struggling but Montezemolo seemingly turned their road car business (and racing) around. Here is a list of cars under Montezemolo's 23 year reign. What's your favorite or top 3/5?
Apologies if I missed a few. Organized by type of vehicle:
Ferrari
2-seat Gran Turismo
Mid-engine V8
Front-engine 2+2
Mid-engine 12-cylinder

Favorite "Ferrari"?
Not to take the thread off-topic, but a close friend of mine had a bright red 1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo. Note its remarkable resemblance to a Ferrari......with a heck of a lot more build-quality and reliability, not to mention a much lower price. That's one reason why he loved the car.

Now back to Ferrari, do you have a notable Ferrari model from the Montezemolo era you'd like to share? For everyone's convenience they are on the first post.

To say the truth, I have never really liked any Ferrari from a design perspective, but also from a quality perspective. They have good engines, and rather good handling and performance, but all the rest is cheap and bad. I think my favourite Ferrari is the 400.
Like a Ferrari 275 GTB/4
or Ferrari 250 GT Lusso for example?

I was always a sucker for the 512TR. Classic Miami vice styling, but there were a TON of mechanical changes that made it a much faster and better driving car. But I really wouldn't say that was from the Montezemolo era, as the Testarossa was launched back in 1985.
My favorite car that he actually had influcene in is the 360 Modena. Such a beautiful and classic design IMO, it reminds me of the 246 Dino GTS of the early 70's. Which is another icon IMO.

And, as far as "Come on" is concerned, those were not my words, but my friend's. I was with him the night he bought it (he was like a kid in a candy store that evening), and he was sold on its Toyota reliability and Ferrari-like looks, especially in bright red.

It's also of note that (as I've pointed out in some previous threads), that Enzo Ferrari himself drove a Fiat 128 econobox as his personal daily-driver.....this, despite the fact that, as Top Dog, he could have his pick of any of the company's products at any time. Fiat, not surprisingly, made the most of that in its TV and magazine-ads.

This is tough..... in the past 23 years I would have to say 599 GTO or 599 GTB..
Of all time, there's too many.. I like the 250 GTO, 275 GTS..
I think the 1957, 250 California is one of the most beautiful Ferrari's of all time..
