Default Got a new toy

2003 C32 AMG (Supercharged V6). Wasn't looking at all but it caught my eye - I didn't need it but I sure wanted it after the test drive. No paintwork, clean carfax report, not one door ding, not even any wear on the big AMG seat bolsters. Factory staggered tires (matching Potenzas). And oh sh|t is it quick. Stupid quick. Back in the day some were able to get 0-60 in 4.6 sec. The color is "Orion Blue", supposedly special order on this car, and it's what first attracted me to it there on the front row of the local BMW dealership (traded in on an M4). I love the size - it's just perfect. Storms the twisties around my house with gusto, knowing exactly what gear is called for (5-spd auto). Power builds and builds and you just end up letting off before you get into serious trouble. It's one of those cars that just makes you wanna go drive it.
Here's some pics:

Very nice... I've been browsing myself on the AMG brand 2003 to 2006 models preferably the E class but a little scared of not having a warranty on such a car

Yeah I really want a CL55 but that air suspension keeps me away. I did drive a friend's for a day last year and MAN what a machine.

Yeah what bugs me is the wider rear wheels somehow end up making the fronts look bigger, the way the shadows fall.

had to look it up: 3.2L V6 Supercharged 354hp and 332lbft for the C32 AMG

in comparison, the new C400 with it's 3.0L V6 Bi-Turbo 329hp and 354lbft

some great numbers for that C32. no wonder it feels lightning fast lol.

so OP any type of warranty if any did you get? and is only the 55 and 63 models with air suspensions in all classes ?

I opted to not get a warranty, it has 100k miles and as of now, everything works LOL
Carfax shows all service at Mercedes dealers, recent new radiator, new brakes (cross-drilled), etc. so I feel pretty good about the upkeep so far.
I don't think engine size determines if it has air suspension - I think it's just all the larger AMG models do.

Very nice, before i got my GS300, one of these, as well as an older E55 were on my list, but for a daily driver I was worried about upkeep and rust as this age of mercedes, across the line from the c to the s, had problems with rust. That being said yours looks great, that color is really sharp.

Wow I've never seen a w203 C class with rust, but regardless this is a Dallas car so should be good
