No trolling for me Tango.

I am a Chrysler hater every day.

The next time you are stuck in traffic caused by a Chrysler minivan driver, remember me.

Since I am warmed up, it was great to see that Chrysler is being investigated for minivans stalling (I feel another sweet recall coming).

Why do you hope the Viper is discontinued? Is it because it is among the fastest track cars ever built, regardless of price?

I hope no car gets discontinued. Everyone loses when that happens.

BTW, my Chrysler is a friggin beast so hate on it as much as you'd like

I normally don't care for muscle cars but the Viper was the exception. Unique among the see of wannabe sports cars. Even out shined the Ford GT of 2005 IMHO which wasn't hard to do.

Slightly off topic but the GT holds a special place in my heart. Not only did it have nostalgia and LeMans Pedigree, but it's mid-engine! Rumor has it a new one could be in the works and be either a EcoBoost 6 or Coyote 8 with hybrid power. That's all speculation though.

Black on topic,

We recently took in a 2006 on trade. One word comes to mind: Raw. I'd love to sample a new one with it's better EVERYTHING

It is not just the viper, I want all Chrysler products to go bye bye so hard working people will not have to suffer, building, driving, repairing or seeing them blight the planet.

You and me both brotha, besides its great performance its such an over engineered car. Clean ones demand a small fortune these days.

Obviously not a direct competitor, but MB just released their SL400 with the bi turbo V6 at around 80K...that is a reduction of over 20K over the SL550. I think Id take the SL over the Viper for same money

Different strokes for different folks. If I wanted a 300ish BHP luxury convertible that went 0-60 in 5.1 I'd save thirty grand or so and get a 4-series.

Edit: I'd probably actually take a used IS350, actually. Such an underrated convertible and are so reasonable in the used market.

Understood. Got to sit in one when it came out and just wasn't my cupa tea. Love it's history though.

The new 'Dodge' Viper is still an epic performance machine with its monstrous V10 naturally-aspirated engine.

Sure it sells very few.....but that is what makes it exclusive.

This is one hell of a car for many hardcore track enthusiasts and racers, this is a car that is unforgiving to new drivers and is really a hardcore beast with such brutality. Sure the 7th gen Corvette may sell more numbers and may have better price/performance ratio......but VIPER IS STILL VIPER!!!

Haters will always hate

possible supercharged model coming 2016, so if you have a current viper, get that 15k credit to use towards the supercharged one

Fair enough, design is subjective, but glad to hear you're objective
