I use it on nice days and nice cool nights through out the summer.

I don't use it as much as i should. But it does get some use, especially on 70 degree nights.

Opened it a handful of times in almost 2 years with my RX. Never cared for it hence why I didn't get it on my IS for the premium asked.

hate sun/moon roofs. total waste of money, weight, and headroom for me. doesn't mean others shouldn't have them but i wish it was optional on higher end trim lines.

I've only it to make sure it still works! But then again, I can't stand wind/road noise. I don't think I've ever driven for more than a few mins with the windows down. I do leave the sunshade open to let the light in

I never use mine. The A/C is always on here in Florida. I don't like the sun glare or wind noise. The moonroof should be an option.

Open and vent it daily. It's a cheap and easy way to cool of the car and save gas (no a/c).

with the added wind turbulence and modern day a/c efficiency, any gas you save is likely negligible. and in florida in the summer, the air is so humid - no thanks.

I thought in modern cars, with drag coefficients, the drag from opening windows actually caused more gas consumption than running the A/C?

I believe this is correct. Depending on how fast ur going and for how long, generally driving on a freeway/highway at high speeds, its more efficient to keep the windows up and AC down. Around town driving at normal city speeds u save gas not having the AC running b/c having the windows open at lower speeds doesn't create as much drag.
I always have my sunroof open tho. Always. And if its too sunny in the middle of the day I wear my Lexus hat while it's open. Matter of preference tho, I love driving with windows down and air blowing in, my fiancé always keeps her sunroof closed and windows up, always.

This was a mythbusters episode. Freeway, AC is better, Around town, window is better

I owned my IS350 for almost 8 years. I use it when I just got it and again when I was in Yosemite and watched to stare at the stary sky.

I hardly ever use it. But I know it cools the car faster after baking in the sun.

However, now the damn thing rattles, so I don't really like sunroofs
