Do you use your sunroof?
I think owning my RX for 2 years. I only opened the sunroof once or twice just to make sure it still works. The rest of the time the roof and shade are closed.
Just wondering does anyone else use their sun roof?

All the time. I only close it when it's really hot and I have the A/C on, or really cold and I have the heat on.

If it's not raining, it's open. I've never pulled the shade.

mine is always open in vent mode - even when parked with car cover on.
Very rare occasion do I ever actually open it all the way -- weather sux in texas for open-air motoring.

It is hot/humid/dusty most of the year so not really.... I do like having a sunroof though and i do pull the shades occasionally. The only time i open it is when the weather is perfect and that doesn't happen very often around here.

All the time, whenever possible. Tilt for ventilation. Open on nice days or at night when I'm tooling around town.
And on the highway, I mainly drive two ways: all windows up with the A/C on (and often I still tilt the sunroof), or no A/C, sunroof tilted and the passenger side rear window cracked (which lets in quite a bit of air right at the driver's seat). I use the latter all the time on nice days, the former when it's too hot to do so. I don't like driving down the highway with my windows down, too much wind.....but the tilted sunroof, cracked rear pass window is the perfect alternative for me. And I routinely drive down the highway with all my windows up, but my sunroof completely open (on nice days or at night).
And in the winter, I always like to have some sunlight coming in for warmth and to brighten the cabin when I'm in the mood. Actually, how I position my sunshade and sunroof is often a reflection of the outside temperature and my mood, with both changing often (so the position of my shade/roof change often too).
I would never buy a car without a moon roof, as it completes the driving experience for me.

In a word, never. Never use tilt, never have it open, and never have the shade open. I don't like the sunlight coming into the cabin and I don't see any benefit to the ventilation versus cracking the window. The only time I have ever used it is after washing he car and not wanting any streaks.
This topic has recently come into play in the Mercedes C class forums. The new C class does not come with a sunroof, and the only option is to get the panoramic.

Sunshade is rarely closed. That's why I have a panoramic roof. Love the natural light. I'll have the sunroof open most days throughout the year except winter.

I loove the feel of the air thus have mines open on all the time !! If its too hot or too cold ....... well then I'll have the A/C on and/or heater on with the sunroof open
