Wow, Acura sold 2,300 units of the TLX in less than two weeks!
And mostly V6 variants, interesting. Great start for the new model

The RLX on the other hand...

Can we have a fun car summary?

208 GTRs
3 LFAS to lucky new owners

Any M4 numbers out there? I am in DC today and a couple of 30 year old guys were enjoying the town in a well speced one (deep gray with gloss black wheels and red leather), stunning car.

Couldn't believe when I saw 51,000+ units sold, an all time Accord record. Wow.
What were the incentives like?

Again, Camry killing it too with 44K just a month or so before the new one debuts.

- Despite Fiat struggling, Maserati, Jeep, Ram and Even Chrysler helps them tremendously

- That new Macan must be making Porsche squirm with excitement

- Despite few Mitsubishi dealers, they must be happy about their August

- Lexus cruising right along, soon to giving BMW, Benz and Audi the F

- Despite sexy revamped line-ups, JLR not doing so hot

51k units sold and hardly any going to fleet sales. These are all customer sales. Can't say the same for the Camry. NYC is littered with Camry hybrid taxis at every turn. Extremely impressive sales for the Accord

No they weren't either. That's the shocking thing. On truecar in my area, it's typical what it has been (around 7% discount). And Honda was less than 1/2 of what the industry's average incentive was.

they definitely won't meet 50k again. That's an absurd #.

What drove the sales then? It's not like Accords were hard to find before.

Maybe it was a typo and they actually meant 41,000.
