Thats the sport model. The regular Camry looks like the Corolla and Avalon grille. No 'big black mouth'.

Well it'll almost always be broken up by a front license plate.

And I think this front end is pictured right now from lower angles, which accentuate that black lower fascia, But for most people, when they're standing by it in person, will be at a much higher vantage point, so it won't seem as overwhelming.

I get the same experience with the Jeep Cherokee's awkward headlamp location. It gets more pronounced in these low, almost upward photos, but in person when I'm by the vehicle, it's not a big deal.

As others have said, other than the odd c-pillar trim, this is a good refresh that doesn't need to last that long on the market. This is what should have debuted in 2012.

Default Toyota Camry facelift teased for Moscow

Appears more conservative than the North American model

Toyota has released the first teaser image of the facelifted Camry, ahead of its debut at the Moscow Motor Show.

Set to be offered in a variety of markets, the international Camry appears to be more conservative than the North American model which was introduced at the New York Auto Show earlier this year.

While the darkened image doesn't reveal much, we can see a smaller grille that is flanked by restyled headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The model also has a prominent Toyota logo and familiar side mirrors.

The company was coy on specifics but engine options will likely carryover. This means we can expect choices to include a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 3.5-liter V6.

So sick of these stale designs from Toyota. The sport grille looks ok but the overall shape and style is just too bland for 2015. I agree the rear end looks like the ES from 2002 (it does). With all their money and resources, you mean to tell me they couldn't come up with a more interesting rear end? Although still, nothing is worse than the current Corolla (insert vomit icon here).

I don't know this for a fact, but I'm guessing that the blacked-out lower-grille on that red Camry in the image is actually an SE model....the Camry's most sport-oriented version. Other versions (L, LE, XLE) probably wouldn't have it blacked-out...more likely, it would be body-color or an aluminum color, giving a different visual effect.

Perhaps ... But the Corolla uses black outs on all non sport models.

Maybe some of the worst responses I have ever seen. C-pillar, the same grill, vomiting at the Camry while fapping to sea creatures.

Seriously,,,,complaining this much about a C-pillar...

The same people calling the Camry boring, then call it dumb and wild when they add styling. You guys are not interested in a Camry so shout it out all you want while consumer love the car, it sells better than anything and is still relatively well received in the press.

And like the same people complaining about the GS and Lexus and everything else, not one thing is said about the drive. Well the Camry SE is among the best drivers in class and seems the 2015 was tuned even more for a better drive.

But hey, let "enthusiasts" complain about a C-pillar

LexFather, please exit this thread.

Other members are sharing their thoughts about a vehicle design, while you are badmouthing other members; big difference. Because their opinion differs from yours doesn't make them somehow less of an enthusiast and it's absolutely fine to discuss, even if they don't plan on buying one.

Can't the same be said about the Skyline/GT-R?
