Default Should Lexus Bring the "Amazing Experience" to the U.S.?

Sometimes brands offer driving experiences or little excursions to help keep you in the automaker's fold. The Germans are very good at this. Mercedes AMG has its AMG Academy, BMW has events all the time, one I just went to, and even Audi has been known to throw a party once in a while. Let me tell you, usually they get wild. Nothing beats a drunk German rapping in German at 2 a.m. But they've got nothing on the Japanese when it comes to outlandish parties, and throwing together amazing trips.

I wonder if they will use LX 570's on the trip to Australia as transport in the wilderness. That would be epic. It would be good marketing as well as Lexus is planning to launch the LX next year in Japan.

I agree they should offer this to their North American owners(as I'm Canadian) as well! It would be nice even to start out with minor events in our region to see if there was enough interest, and starting with small events, their cost would be minimal. If it becomes popular, then a ramped up event...something like the Australian one could be achieved without risk of if it would sell out or not! That's my two cents anyways!

yes, yes, and yes. The connection to the brand and other owners will only be made stronger. If they are looking for more of an emotional connection then this is a great idea
