Well, some of you guys actually want self-driving cars.......and have been arguing for them. Be careful what you wish for.

The end of an era is upon us. I love driving, I want to drive for many more years, and I want my kids to learn the pleasures of driving.

Apart from this, impressed with the Q50.

I guess Mercedes was one step ahead. The infiniti systems seems a bit too lenient

Amazin! Freaking amazing. I cannot wait till these features make it to all cars. I would pay extra for some of these features. I really want stop and go assist for heavy traffic.

the gen of younger buyers are not into cars like we are. Its a different kind of excitement. We dig loud exhausts, power, and speed. They dig tech, tech, infotainment, tech, and mpg, and tech

This tech isn't new at all.

Japanese Domestic Market vehicles such as the Toyota Crown, Celsior & Lexus have had this feature for about a decade now

Not sure how much I can ever really trust these "self-driving" autonomous cars. Sure in a perfect world they sound good, but with the types of drivers I have to put up with on a daily basis I like having control of my vehicle.

I have a Q50 with this stuff and it makes commuting a breeze.

I agree the guy in the vid is Quakers.

Points off to Infiniti for not having a fail safe that kills the system if no one is in the driver's seat.

I8 I like loud and fast and tech stuff.

If you want an investment idea around the tech, check out Mobileye.

I agree with you in principle, but today's traffic does sometimes make driving a chore. I learned to drive in an era when it was, in fact, a lot more fun to drive, as roads were less congested and the scenery from a less-developed countryside was nicer. The bad part was that cars back then were less reliable and required a lot more service.

Like I said in the Q50 thread, that was ballsy given all the known issues with the computer system in that car. Wouldn't risk my life or others doing that.

I was going to say the same thing, yowps3. This feature will give people more reasons to not pay attention behind the wheel: texting, surfing, playing video games, etc. When things go wrong, let's sue the car manufacture. Afterall, it's not our fault the system didn't work.
