i hope this doesn't turn into another i am better than you thing. i am just more interested when the driver talked about his feeling from driving both cars

I would take the GTR over the M5.

Driven both and the GTR is just something else.

I recommend you watch the clip with Chris Harris driving both of them on track as well.

I thought about it as well. Obviously, two epic performance automobiles no doubt. One is a premium performance cruiser while the other is a brutal Japanese cutting knife.

However, if I were to choose, I would prioritize the M5 with Competition Package.

Reasons being:
-More seating capacity
-More doors means that my rear passengers would have no trouble getting into the back seats.
-More premium features and amenities (i.e. the interior of the GTR is very utilitarian......hence why it's cheaper than a Porsche in pricing......maybe except in Germany/Europe)

I understand that the GTR is a better overall machine (in straights and turns).........but in cases where I'm not the only person in the car, then the M5 CP works better for me.

Just my opinion

same here, while gtr is one hell of a car, but i just (still) don't see myself owning one
