Will.i.Am's song "Dreaming About the Future" features the NX, and he'll star in an upcoming European spot for the compact crossover later this year. But he's also going to design a limited edition version. Concept-wise, that's either brilliant or deranged.

Remember last time he designed a car? The one he said used parts from Ma Mopar, but looked like a DeLorean with a giant plastic body kit? The one he swore up and down wasn't a DeLorean? You know, the one that wound up impounded?

The car company he wanted to start--and base in Los Angeles--never got off the ground, but apparently the car bug hasn't let go, so it'll be interesting to see what Will.i.Am comes up with. But what do you think?

Will i am is garbage, his music is worse, he also steals others music and calls it his own. There are more talented musicians that Lexus could associate its self with.

I'd rather hire Will Ferrell to sell a car. Will.i.am's cars and West Coast Customs are a joke. Lexus needs to sever all ties with that clown.

Will He Is is better off peddling car brands to kids, being that's mostly who listens to his music. Lexus is far higher up the ladder, unless they are trying to stoop to some new level. This is one odd match and a poor marketing choice.

I think all the NX needs are some nice wheels are it'll POP!


That said, i'll be cautiously optomistic that Will.I.Am has matured some and is not holding onto the truth of, if some slits are gills works, then more slits & gills will be even better, A' la the still-born Delorean "concept."

I'll give him a chance, but trying to hip-hop/EDM the NX won't work one bit!
