On a different note I feel that we are getting off topic. Currently we are talking about the Nissan 2020, Toyota FT-1, and Acura NSX concepts. Seeing which design and styling people prefer.

We have a MKIV thread for those that would like to talk about the old model.
Yeah, you're right.

NSX would get my vote, but I'm a Batman fan, so 2020.

a poll about cars not out and one not even built is maybe a bit premature.

NSX barely gets my vote over the FT-1, both great looking vehicles. Not digging the Nissan Batmobile.

I was just trying to comparing styling of concept vs concept. To see what direction people are leaning towards

NSX is pretty much production ready. The other two will never look close when they go into production.

Nissan, not a chance. But in the interview video the designers said a lot of the design elements and styling cues on FT-1 could make production. Some features like the mirrors may have to be enlarger a bit, and ect.

When they unveiled the second FT-1 second I guess we will have a better idea.

I'm glad if they do because I plan on buying the next Supra, but I'd rather be pessimistic.

I also hope it stays close to the concept. But I wouldn't mind if a few changes were made. I'm not a huge fan of the headlights or the two lower fans.

I think people are being a little over dramatic when they say the final version will never look close to the concept. With the examples I posted earlier, yes changes were made, but the final product still resembles their concept counterpart.

There is nothing wrong with being pessimistic or expressing your thoughts. As well all know Toyota monitors social media, so its great if you are giving them feedback and ect.

Let's all keep in mind that the Acura and Toyota are actual physical prototypes and the Nissan is a virtual car designed specifically for a video game. If it does foreshadow the next GT-R I think we can all agree that the first physical concept we'll see won't be this extreme. But hey, I voted 2020 anyway because it looks like it could eat both of the other car's lunch... right after it beats them up and takes it from them.

Correct, but we could see a real 2020 concept. The Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Concept and the Toyota Gran Turismo Concept was originally only thought to be a gaming car.

Although I'm still not totally on board with the new NSX, I voted NSX simply because it has your typical mid engine style dimensions. The FT-01 is a nice car, but I don't like the rear end and I think the hood looks too long. I'm not interested in the 2020 design at all yet.

Tbh, I think the NSX's front is better than the FT-1. That is the downer of that car. The side profile and rear look nice though. I think Ill vote when each car is in production.
