Default Pagani Huayra Roadster coming within the next two years - report

Should have a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 with 730 PS (537 kW)

Pagani spokesman Luca Venturi has confirmed the company is developing a Huayra Roadster.
Venturi didn't go into specifics but told Autoblog the model will likely be unveiled within the next two years.

Little else is known about the car but it will likely be heavily influenced by the Huayra coupe. This means we can expect the model will have a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine that develops 730 PS (537 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 Nm) of torque. This enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and hit top speed of 370 km/h (230 mph) but the roadster could be a few ticks slower.

Default Pagani Huayra Roadster Due Within Two Years: Report

While the world probably isn't quite done lusting after the hardtop Pagani Huayra supercar, there is reportedly a roadster version in the works that will undoubtedly add even more drama to this superlative automobile.
While previous reports suggested the Huayra roadster would arrive sometime in 2014, a Pagani spokesman told Autoblog that the roofless car could show up anytime within the next two years.

Like the Zonda before it, the Huayra roadster should be identical to its coupe sibling, with all of the same mechanical bits. That means a 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged Mercedes-Benz AMG V-12, producing at least 700 horsepower.

The Huayra coupe's gull-wing doors will have to go though. Pagani will likely give the Huayra roadster a removable roof panel rather than a folding hard or soft top, just as it did with the previous Zonda Roadster. It'll be interesting to see what affect removing the roof will have on the Huayra's controversial styling, which doesn't suit everybody, but does look pretty good in bare carbon fiber.

The Huayra roadster will be sold in the U.S., but ti could be awhile before customers get their hands on one. Despite a recent production ramp-up, Pagani still builds less than 100 cars per year. At least that gives buyers plenty of time to save up the more than $1.5 million the Huayra roadster is likely to cost.

Default Pagani Zonda X under development

Zonda seems to be immortal

Pagani is currently working on a special Zonda X which is likely based on the 760LM version.

It was June last year when Pagani introduced the Zonda Revolucion which at that point was believed to be the model's swan song. However, it doesn’t seem to be the case as the Italian supercar maker is currently working on a one-off Zonda X for a wealthy customer possibly from China.

It looks a lot like the Zonda Uno with its attractive turquoise paint scheme and on the inside it combines blue leather with anodized aluminum parts and carbon fiber inserts.

The vehicle is likely based on the Zonda 760LM with power coming from an AMG V12 7.3-liter naturally aspirated engine developing 760 PS (559 kW) sent to the road via a sequential gearbox.

For those who think the new Pagani is ugly....its only because you have never seen one in person. ( most never will ). I was lucky enough to see a full CF example at the Concours De elegance . STUNNING !!

Default Possible Pagani Huayra Nurburgring Edition spied for the first time

Click here to view more photos

A track-focused version

A mysterious Pagani Huayra prototype was spied recently on the Nürburgring, thus fueling rumors about a Nürburgring Edition.

It was less than two days ago when a report indicated Pagani is working on a track-focused version of the Huayra called Nürburgring Edition and now a test mule was spied near the namesake track. It looks exactly the same as the standard version with the exception of the cables coming out of the engine area and going inside the cabin where these were probably hooked up to a computer.

If this is indeed the Nürburgring Edition, expect production to be capped at 10-25 units and all of them will probably go through a considerable diet with more carbon fiber use, a stripped out cabin and other weight-saving measures. Output of the AMG V12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine will likely be taken beyond the current 710 PS (522 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) level. Thanks to these changes, the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run will probably take around 3 seconds since the stock model does the sprint in 3.3s.

Based on previous experiences with the Zonda, expect a wide array of Huayra special editions in the years to come.

Default 15-year-old boy gets brand new Pagani Huayra as a birthday gift

Still waiting for a driving license

A stunning brand new yellow Pagani Huayra has been delivered to what is believed to be the youngest Pagani owner in the world.

He is 15 years old and lives in the city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The supercar comes as a gift for the boy’s birthday and is the first Huayra order from this country, although it will be the second of its kind to hit the roads in Taiwan.

Previous reports have suggested the car will be delivered to the boy and then transferred back to Italy until the owner gets his driving license. Our source claims it will soon be getting a custom exhaust system by Innotech Performance Exhaust.

As one of the few here who has seen one in the flesh, I can say a drop top will be one of the most stunning cars on earth.

He is officially the world's most spoiled brat.

I mean come on, go buy the kid a used Lambo Gallardo that's seen the wrong side of a ditch for $50k. If he wads it up, no big deal. If he survives, more power to him
