went to my local crapmart to pickup a 5 qt just of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum synthetic oil for an oil change today....strange thing....all the seals were broken on all the jugs in the weight I needed.

Why would that be?

I even noticed a lot of the 1 qt containers seals were broken and hanging off the bottles. I mean I checked like 10 different jugs...all busted seals.

I finally did manage to find some other weights that the seals were not broken, then promptly cracked one open to compare the quantity (both were the same, full) they are see-thru containers anyway so you can determine quantity.

So what was going on here? My first thoughts were some punks were opening the good stuff and emptying and switching somehow with cheap stuff???? or idiots putting sand in the oil for kicks??

partially solved.... I guess...Pennzoil has a promotion for gas discount with codes under the caps.
