How many of you remember these? A friend of mine bought a 97 SC400 and as we are checking out the car, look what I found!! I used to think, or rather, it was some BOSS ***** to have the Lexus flip phone.......anybody else still have theirs? I wish I could still get service on this thing!!!

I googled car phone and came up with this hilarious cliche picture from the 80's. Wall street douche in his Porsche 928, talking on the car phone, and why yes that is a fax machine there for good measure as well.

Guess our grand children will enjoy a chuckle or two in 20 years time when discovering a touch screen smart phone in gramps' vintage F-sport. Can imagine that amused shake of the head, whilst remarking "People in those days must've struggled a lot with these primitive devices", not to mention the hilarious laughter when they pop in one of the "old man's" cd's into the Mark Levinsohn.
And if you could listen in to this, your teenage granddaughter taking her brothers to task by saying: "Stop being so nasty you idiots, it's not that bad". That piece of sympathy from an important judge like your granddaughter usually hurts even more than outright screaming laughter from her side.
