Looks like the combination of a Crosstour and a Chrysler Crossfire from the side. After how amazingly (un)successful the 5er GT has been, I can't believe that BMW is doubling down on these here with a 3er GT. But apparently they're selling since I've seen two in the past two days.
BMW design team has completely lost me. Benz totally has it going on nowadays.

ugly car. will sell well.
but seriously bmw is just genius because people like cool sedans but many (most?) want/need more space to stick stuff. rather than do the 'normal' looking hatchback with vertical back, they do these 'GT' models, and buyers think they can 'have it all' (when of course they can't).
