Default LS400 with only 27 thousand miles

I have been looking for a second vehicle so i can switch around between it and my Land Cruiser. I found an almost brand new LS with super low mileage.

Pictures don't do it justice.

It still had the factory paper on the window that had all the info even the exact day it was made, i think it was 12th of April or March 2000.

It drove brand new, felt super smooth. In many ways the Land Cruiser feels so similar to the LS, it is basically a 4wd LS.
I drove it and it rode super smooth as if i were floating on a cloud, even with bridgestone tires.

LS is a great vehicle, smoothest riding vehicle i have ever been in, super quiet but it just isn't for me.

Had this been a 2000 LX i would not have hesitated one bit in bringing her back home with me!!!!

If this is a MY2000, why is there a power antenna on the rear?

Nice fire hydrant in the front seat.

At 27k in 14 years, I'd almost worry it hasn't been driven enough.

I'd jump on it. It's bound to be a classic/collectors. And how often do you find ANY older LS in such good condition?

It was selling for around $18K. I don't know what prices are in the US for similar model LS400. Keep in mind over here Lexus/Toyota vehicles have a very strong resale value. Especially the Land Cruiser and Lexus LX which can actually reach a point where prices don't go lower but go higher if well maintained. A similar year LX with the same mileage would have sold for a higher price than $18k . Last month a 2000 LX 470 with around 300 thousand miles was sold for $18k.

It's a nice find, but not so rare. Low mileage LSs are common in the used car market. I've seen some here and there with around 30-40k (I personally bought a '99 at 49k a couple of years ago). Still don't understand why there is a power antenna on this 2000 model, when it was removed in 1998.
