I totally thought this was a repost until I followed the link....there was a near-identical situation with an E36 or E46 years ago, with a picture that circulated around the net.

I guess people are still just as stupid/inconsiderate now as they were a decade ago.

I saw this on a movie some years ago (I think it was Ron Howard's Backdraft). The firefighters pull up in front of house on fire only to discover the hydrant blocked by a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. With little hesitation, they axed out the front windows, remarking that the owner could afford it.
